The weather is changing and for some they can't wait. There are a lot of people who are tired of the snow. I love it, and I always will. I do enjoy seeing the little green buds and growth on the trees and bushes. I was looking out my window this morning at the small grove of trees on the North East side of the property and noticed the 12-18 inches of new growth from last year. It is shiny right now, new and doesn't look like bark. Then as you follow it down the branch you see last years bark. It is dry, aged and looks dead. But it isn't; it is still alive, a tougher version of the new shiny green bark, tougher to sustain the new extension of itself and the leaves that will soon appear.
